He made his debut at Newbury in January this year, winning a 2m maiden hurdle by 2 ¼ l from Navajo Indy (received 3 lb), then was 2nd at Lingfield in February in another 2m novice Hurdle, beaten a neck by Yellow Star (received 9lb), then was 2nd again at Kempton in March in a 2m 5f novice hurdle, beaten 1l by Kasminas (gave 2lb). He finished the season at Sandown in April finishing 2nd in a 2m Novice Championship Final Handicap hurdle, beaten ½ l by Helnwein (received 3lb).
Dan Skelton told The Punter, “He is a lovely horse who is very promising, he has done a lot of growing and will remain over hurdles at the start of the season.
