At Cheltenham on Friday in the 3m listed novice chase, Hyland (Bob), went to post in the 3m listed novice chase, Made all, not fluent 5 out, good jump when faced challenges 2 out, soon ridden, kept on well run-in, always doing enough, winning by ½ l. He gets 27 points.

In the grade 2 , 2m chase,  Jonbon ((Steve), took his chance, Made all and set even pace, quickened tempo before 2 out, 2 lengths ahead last, driven and stayed on run-in,, winning by 1 ½ l. He gets 42. 68 points 
 
In the grade 2 novice hurdle Potter’s Charm (Bob, Cod), went to post, Pressed leader, led narrowly 2 out, came clear turning in, stayed on strongly, winning  impressively by 11l. He gets  22.75 points.

At Cheltenham on Saturday in the 2m grade 2 novice chase L’Eau Du Sud (Neil), took his chance, Travelled strongly, jumped well, prominent, led 2 out, clear last, winning impressively by 11 l. He gets 43.82 points.

At Navan in the 2m grade 2 chase Found A Fifty (Steve), took his chance, Jumped right on occasions, held up in rear but in touch with leaders, headway and prominent after 5 out, led 2 out, ridden when jumped badly right and hampered rival last, all out , winning by a neck. He gets 44.76 points.

At Uttoxeter in the 2m 4f maiden hurdle, Kingston Pride (Neil), went to post, In touch with leaders, smooth headway 3 out, pressed leader but not fluent 2 out, shaken up to lead approaching last, soon went clear, steadied and reduced lead last, kept on well run-in,  winning readily by 3 ¼ l. He gets 23.08 points.

Ballyburn, the star novice hurdler who lit up last season, looks set to make his comeback this weekend at Punchestown after remaining in contention for the Unibet Morgiana Hurdle (2.10), as well as being given an entry over fences. Lossiemouth, the new Champion Hurdle favourite with some bookmakers, could also make her reappearance in the Morgiana.
