The list of star names missing the festival grows as Cue Card and Sprinter Sacre were both scratched this week.
Cheltenham is not a lucky place for Charlie Longsdon but the trainer has high hopes for stable star Pendra at the Festival Hopefully he's my best chance," said Longsdon.
"Going up to two and a half miles will be the best for him, he has an entry over three miles but the Rewards4Racing Novices' Handicap Chase is the obvious chance for him.

Ruby Walsh believes that Hurricane Fly can show his best at Cheltenham and finally put to bed the perception that he has not been at the peak of his powers around Prestbury Park.

Nicky Henderson has delivered an upbeat bulletin about current Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite, Bobs Worth

The reigning champion has not been seen out since landing the Lexus Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas and the master of Seven Barrows described himself as happy with his preparations en route to this year's Festival.
Speaking at Doncaster, Henderson said: "I'm pleased with Bob. Thank goodness we got the race into him in Ireland because I would have hated to have to run him at Cheltenham the other week in that ground. "Since the Lexus he has been gradually building back up and now we'll start to get some serious work into him.

My Tent Or Yours is likely to go down the racecourse gallop route in his preparation for the Stan James Champion Hurdle after trainer Nicky Henderson ruled out a trip to Wincanton

Looking at the Arkle after Rock on Ruby’s victory today, you can still get 8/1 about a Champion hurdle winner, and whilst the market hinges on the participation of Champagne Fever, both are quite in experienced and at double the price Rock On Ruby looks good value
