High class and progressive novice chaser last season it will be interesting to see where he rates at the end of this season.  He made his debut at Paray Le – Monial in March 2016,  finishing 2^nd in a 1 4f stakes race, beaten 1 ¼ l by Drive Again, then in April at Lyon Parilly, won a 1m 4f AQPS race by 7 ½ l from Domino Dore.  He then moved to Phillip Hobbs and made his UK debut at Ffos Las in October, winning a 2m maiden hurdle by 5l from Ochos Rios, then followed up at Cheltenham in November in a 2m grade 2 juvenile hurdle, beating Diable De Sivola 1 ¾ l (received 4lb).  In December he won over 2m 1f at Cheltenham in another juvenile hurdle giving 3lb to Couer De Lion, and winning by 1 ¾ l, then followed up at  Chepstow 3 weeks later taking the 2m grade 1 Future Champions Finale Juvenile hurdle by 13l from Evening Hush ( received 7lb). He then won a 2m 1f grade 2 juvenile hurdle at Cheltenham by 9l from Rainbow Dreamer in January, then the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham in March beating Mega Fortune 5l, and finished with victory at Aintree taking the 2m 1f Juvenile hurdle by 1 ½ l from Divin Bere, to complete an outstanding season.  He made only 2 appearances the following season, finishing 4^th at Ascot over 2m 3f in the grade 2 Ascot Hurdle, beaten 17 ¾ l behind Lil Rockefeller, then in February last year was 7^th over 2m in the grade 1 Irish Champion hurdle, beaten 26 ½ l by Supasundae. He reappeared at Cheltenham in November, finishing last of 5 in the 2m grade 2 Arkle Trial novice chase , beaten 25 l behind Lalor, then won a 2m 3f novice chase at Exeter by 3 ½ l from Topofthegame, and then was 2^nd at Cheltenham in January,  beaten 1 ¼ l in the 2m 4f grade 1 Dipper novice chase by Lostintranslation (received 3lb).  He reversed the form at level weights at Sandown in February, winning the 2m 4f grade 1 Scilly Isles novice chase by 3/4l, then won the 2m 4f grade 1 Golden Miller novice chase at Cheltenahm again beating Defi De Seuil by 2 ¼ l. He finished the season at Punchestown with 2nd over 2m in the grade 1 Ryan Air novice chase beaten 4 ¼ l. He looks best at 2m 4f and it will be interesting to see what he is aimed at, the Ryan Air chase at Cheltenham looking the obvious long range target.
