Andrew Balding is one of those good
consistent trainers, who usually just falls short of top class horses, so this
is a rare appearance for him in these pages. This is an interesting colt, who
made his debut at Goodwood in October, finishing 3rd in a1m 1f maiden,
beaten 5 ¾ l by Monachs Glen. He reappeared in March this year at Wolverhampton
in a 1m 4f Maiden, winning comfortably by 3l from Utopian Dream, and should
prove capable of winning a handicap and probably a listed race at least this
season, but could prove much better as he does hold a Derby entry.
Trainer A. Balding
