2017 Flat - Editor's Introduction

This looks a very exciting season with a number of top class older horses making the middle distance races a mouth watering prospect. Jack Hobbs has already laid down a marker in Meydan, with Postponed also in the mix and Almanzor, Solow, Midterm, Journey, So Di Mar, just a few to mention.
In the Cup races, Order of St George, Quest For More, Beautiful Romance, Dartmouth, all resume battle.
Then we have some top class sprinters crossing swords again, Magical Memory, Marsha, The Tin Man, Cotai Glory, Quiet Reflection
Then we come to the classic generation, and possibly the most influential sire since Galileo and Dubawi, Frankel’s first crop look to take a big hand in the classics and top 3 year old races, having had a fantastic season as two year olds. Coolmore are in for a big challenge this season.
We again have a huge spread with   116  different horses, so let the fun begin and good luck to all

The EDITOR
