Useful sort who should
continue to improve he made his debut at Kilfeacle, in a 3m maiden point in January
2017, finishing 6th, beaten 7 1/4l by On The Blind Side, then in
February, won a similar event at Belharbour by 10 l from U No Like. Moving to
Donald McCain, he won his reappearance at Bangor in December 2017, taking a 2m
3f novice hurdle by 7l from Thedellercheckout, then in January was 2nd
over 2m 7f novice hurdle at Bangor, beaten 1 ½ l by Samuel Jackson. He was 2nd
again at Haydock in February, in a 2m 7f grade 2 novice hurdle beaten 15 by
Chef Des Obeaux, then at Ayr in March, won a 2m 4f novice hurdle by 18 l from
Geronimo. He finished with 4th at Aintree in April in the 3m grade 1
Sefton Novice hurdle, beaten 10 ¼ l behind Santini, and that suggests he should
make a decent novice chaser this season.
