Cheltenham 2015 - your questions answered

A few things we needed to get to the bottom of:

Why is Cheltenham called Cheltenham?
One from Tuesday's taxi driver that had us scratching our heads. Simple answer to be honest. It started life as a hamlet on the River Chelt which is a tributary of the Severn.

Who was Albert Bartlett?
A man with a dream. He started his business in 1948 with £30 investing in a hot water boiler and a cast iron bath to start a beetroot boiling concern in Coatbridge, Scotland. His was the first business to pack carrots in a 'poly' bag and that business (run by the third generation of the family) now supplies one in five of the UK's potatoes.

When did they stop running behind the stand?
Sorry Neil, still haven't got to the bottom of this one. More research to be done.
