French bred gelding who ran twice on
the flat in France as a 3 year old, finishing 6th over 1m 4f on his
debut then, 5th over 1 m 7f in June 2015. He made his debut over hurdles
in August, finishing 3rd at Clairefontaine over 2m 1f, then was 3rd
at Auteuil over 2m 2f. He got off
the mark at Vichy in October taking a 2m 2f hurdle by ¼ l from Bestarabad, and then came across the water to his
current trainer. He made a winning start in England in March last year winning
a 2m novice hurdle by 1l from Viva Rafa, and followed up at Bangor 2 weeks
later over 2m 3f, taking another novice hurdle by 13l from Tjongejonge. He reappeared last season in November
at Fontwell, finishing 4th in a novice handicap chase, beaten 15 ½ l
by More Bucks, then won a similar event at Newbury over 2m 6f by ¾ l from
Aurillac. He then won a 3m novice chase at Warwick by 22l from Arctic Gold, and
finished the season with a 33l win at Leicester beating Zeroshadesofgrey. He
will hopefully win more staying chases this season.
