Smart and
progressive gelding who has not been out the frame in his 9 starts. He made his
debut at Chepstow in April 2012, finishing 1 ¾ l third in a 2m bumper behind
Irish Bucaneer, then reappeared in March 2013, to win a similar event at
Uttoxeter by 15l from Elmore Rock and followed up at Exeter a month later under
a 7lb penalty, beating Boogie in the Barn ¾ l. He reappeared at Carlisle in
November 2013, finishing 1¾ l 2nd in a 2m 3f novice hurdle behind
Oscar Fortune, then a month later in a similar event over 2m 5f at Warwick, was
beaten 1l by the highly regarded
Champagne West. He got off the mark at Chepstow in December, beating
Ceasar Milan 19l in a 2m 4f maiden
hurdle and followed up at Warwick in January this year, beating Masters Hill 9l
in a 2nm 5f grade 2 novice hurdle. He finished the season with a creditable 2nd
in the 3m grade 1 Albert Bartlett hurdle at the festival, 4 ½ l behind Very Wood. He goes novice chasing
and started at Fontwell in October, finishing 4 ½ l 2nd to Virak in
a 2m 4gf Beginners Chase, and looks set for a good season.
