Highly progressive hurdler, he made his debut at Haydock in April 2o11, taking a 2m bumper by 27l from Highrate, and followed up in November at Kempton, taking a novice hurdle over 2m by 6l from Sleeping City. He then scraped home by a nose over 2m 1f at Cheltenham in December from High Storm, and followed up at Taunton over 2m 1f beating Jump City ½ l He then fell in a 2m grade 3 handicap hurdle at Newbury , then finished 2n in the 2m grade 1 Supreme novice hurdle at Cheltenham behind Cinders and Ashes He finished the season with a 3 ¼ l victory over Captain Colan in a 2m grade 2 novice hurdle, and is highly regarded at Seven Barrows.
