Jumps 2012/13 - Editor's Introduction

Well here we go again as another winter competition commences and we span in to yet another year.
We do it with our thoughts very much with John in his fight against the evil C  but I am sure that will not detract him from his efforts to stop the other evil C racking up a hat trick !
This is a very interesting season, with the Henderson camp for once appearing to hold all the aces whilst the Nicholls team are in transition and looking for some new stars.
We also are expecting the return of Imperial Commander, and some exciting young stars, Sir Des Champs and Sprinter Sacre , Simonsig to name 3, whilst Sizing Europe carries the Flag in 2 mile chases for the older brigade.
Big Bucks will once again to defy all comers for his crown, and it is difficult to see anything at this stage that would beat him. There appeared some worthy challengers last season, but he kicked them aside and if anything looked better than ever. Overall it looks a much stronger season overall, so should be a lot of fun to come. We also have Mick Channon taking over some of the Henrieta Knight horses, strange to see his name in the Paddy Power entries.
We have 83 horses, 2 Big Bucks and Sprinter Sacre are in all, Simonsig in 8. The Editor has 190 single picks, Neil 9.
Lets hope it is another cracking season and an exciting competition
Regards
The Editor
