We start at Punchestown in Monday where in the 2m 4f grade 1 John Durkan memorial chase Galopin Des Champs (Cod, Neil, Peej), went to post, Jumped well, prominent, smooth headway and went second before 4 out, led going easily before 2 out, clear approaching last, winning  impressively by 13 l. He gets 26.1 points.

In the 2m Beginners Chase Appreciate It  ( Bob), took his chance, Made all, jumped well, faced challenge but going best after 2 out, shaken up and went clear run-in, winning readily by 7l. He gets 22.4 points.

ITV 7 Bonanza

The ITV Racing Christmas Festival will show six days and more than 18 hours of high-class action between December 26 and January 1 from 12 different tracks in Britain and Ireland, including the third and fourth days of Leopardstown's Christmas meeting and Tramore's New Year's Day card.

A Plus Tard could have the chance to atone for his Haydock disappointment in the Savills Chase at Leopardstown, with Henry de Bromhead’s Cheltenham Gold Cup hero amongst the 11 entries for the December 28 contest.

High Definition is set to make his eagerly-awaited hurdling debut at Leopardstown on Boxing Day – with Joseph O’Brien looking forward to seeing how his new recruit takes to the challenge. “He obviously was a high-quality Flat horse and when you get to run over hurdles, it is then when you get to find out how they have taken to the change of discipline,” said O’Brien. “We’re looking forward to seeing how he gets on. We’ve been happy with how he’s jumped.”
