The Cod is taking an interest in other species, and this is an interesting novice. He made his debut at Punchestown in April this year, finishing 3rd in a 2m bumper, beaten 1 ¾ l behind Path D’Oroux (gave 7lb), then in May at Punchestown was again third in a 2m bumper, beaten 6 ½ l behind Marine Nationale, and on his last start recently at Clonmel, won a 2m maiden hurdle by 7 ½ l from Cillians Charm . Whilst the form is hard to assess, he was an easy winner and looks capable of more success
