We start at Lingfield on Friday where in the 2m handicap hurdle, Metier ( Martin) went to post, Prominent, led before 2nd, jumped right 3rd, ridden after last, kept on, winning by 1 ¼ l. He gets 27.5 points.

On Saturday at Ascot in the 2m 1f grade 1 Clarence House chase, Shishkin ( Cliff, Martin, Neil, Peej, Steve), Energumene ( Bob), took their chances.

Shishkin, Jumped slightly left, tracked leaders, went second but pecked on landing 6th, lost second 8th, pressed leader 3 out, ridden before 2 out, nearly 2 lengths down last, ran on well run-in, led towards finish, winning by 1l. Cliff gets 78.68 points, Martin, Neil, Peej, Steve 51.84

Energumene, Led, ridden approaching last where nearly 2 lengths ahead, kept on run-in, headed towards finish , 2nd beaten 1l. He gets 24 points

At Haydock in the 2m grade 2 novice hurdle, Jonbon ( Bob, Steve), took his chance, Sweating, chased leaders, good jump but slightly hampered 3 out, nudged along to challenge 2 out, shaken up last, ridden to lead and drifted left run-in, soon clear, winning comfortably by3l. He gets 21.4 points.

At Thurles on Sunday in the 2m grade 2 chase Allaho (Peej), went to post, Made all, travelled strongly, jumped slightly left 1st, faced challenge but going okay home turn, soon nudged along and went clear, not fluent last, eased towards finish, winning easily by 12l. He gets 42.2 points.
