We start at Chester on Thursday where in the 1m 5f group 3 Morando ( Neil) went to post, chased leaders, went 2nd over 4 out, led 3 out, kicked om well over 1 out, stayed on well and drew clear , pushed out inside last winning by 8l. He gets 36.4 points
At Leopardstown on Sunday in the 1m 2f group
3 Broome ( Steve),
went to post, dwelt, waited with, 6th ½ way pushed along 3 out, and headway far side, ,
soon switched right and improved to challenge inside final furlong, ridden to
lead and driven clear final 100 yards, winning by 2 ½ l . He gets 32.6 points.
At Longchamp in the 1m Poule DEssai Des Poulains
group 1, Persian King ( Cliff,
Neil, Peej), took his chance, raced keenly,
in touch in mid field, on inner, stuck to rail at cut away, over 2 out, shaken
up, quickened to lead over 1 out, ran on well, winning by 1 l. He gets 26.4 points.
At Chepstow on Tuesday in the 5f novice
auction stakes, Flippa The Strippa ( Neil), took her chance, pressed leader, led 2 out,
ran on well, pushed out close home
winning by ½ l. She gets 25.4 points.
At
York on Wednesday in the 6f group 2, Invincible Army
( Bob), took his chance, towards rear,
headway stands side over 1 out, soon led, kept on well, winning by 2 1/21 l He gets 69 points.
At Bath in the 1m 3f novice stakes Great Bear ( Martin),
took his chance, tracked leaders, headway to lead 2 out, clear inside final
furlong, winning comfortably by 3 ½ l. He gets 24
points.
At
York today in the 1m 2f group 2 Lah Ti Dar ( Steve, Tony),
went to post, tracked leaders, went 2nd over 4 out, led 3 out, soon
ridden, edged left and hard pressed 1 out, headed inside last, fought back to
lead close home winning by a neck. She gets 21.2
points.
