Top class filly, she was unraced at 2,
and made her debut at 3 in a 1m 2f maiden fillies stakes on the all weather at
Lingfield in February last year, finishing 6th, beaten 3 ¾ l by
Atwix. She was then 3rd over 1m 3 f at Kempton in a similar event,
beaten 1 ¾ l by Process, then back at Lingfield, got off the mark winning a 1m
4f maiden by 3 /4 l from Marmion. She was then 2nd at Goodwood at
the end of May in a 1m 4f fillies handicap, beaten ¾ l by Endless time. She
then won a 1m 4f handicap at
Salisbury by a short head from Polarisation, and then stepped up in class to
land a group 3 over 1m 6f at Goodwood in July , beating Hidden Gold 1 ½ l. She
then went to Doncaster in September for the 1m 6f group 1 St Leger stakes and
“won “ a most controversial race by a head from Bondi Beach, having “moved”
that rival aside to get a clear run. Subsequently demoted on the day, rightly
so in this publications opinion, she was reinstated at an appeal. She finished with victory in the 1m 4f
group 1 fillies and mares stakes at Ascot on champions day , beating Journey ¾
l, and with her sex allowance, will be a tough opponent in the middle distance
races.
