We start at Haydock last Friday where in the 1m 2f handicap Cymro ( Neil), took his chance, close up, disputed lead 3 out, ridden to laed 2 out stayed on well final furlong winning by 2 ¼ l . He gets 28.4 points.


On Saturday in the 6f Group 1 Sprint Cup, Twighlight Son ( Bob), went to post, prominent, led 2 out, ridden entering final furlong, driven close home just held on, winning by a short head, he gets 72.8 points.

At Kempton in the 1m 4f group 3 Jack Hobbs ( Bob), took his chance, chased leader till led 2 out, pushed along and soon quickend clear in no danger after, winning very easily by 3 ¼ l. He gets 32.2 points.

Golden Horn and Gleneagles head a star field of eight horses declared for the Qipco Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday, a race that will have an earlier start time due to weather concerns  O'Brien is also represented by Secretariat Stakes winner Highland Reel and top-class filly Found.
Last year's winner The Grey Gatsby is set to defend his crown for Kevin Ryan, while Dermot Weld's Prince of Wales's Stakes hero Free Eagle is another major contender.
Corine Barande-Barbe's French superstar Cirrus Des Aigles  also takes his place in a top class line up.
Andrew Balding is looking forward to getting Elm Park back on the track in the next couple of weeks, The Kingsclere trainer reports last season's Racing Post Trophy winner to be ready to return to action for the first time since he was well beaten in the Investec Derby at Epsom in June.
Balding is to consider the Racehorse Sanctuary Fortune Stakes at Sandown next Wednesday and the William Hill Doonside Cup at Ayr the following Saturday as the two options for the three-year-old colt.

Last year's leading juvenile Tiggy Wiggy has been retired after a lacklustre run in Haydock's Betfred Sprint Cup last weekend.
