We start at Haydock on Friday in the 2m listed novice hurdle where Clondaw Kaempfer (Cod), went to post, Close up, led 3 out, quickened between last 2, jumped right and hit last, ridden and ran on strongly, winning by 3 ¼ l he gets 28 points.
In the 2m 4f novice hurdle, Gevrey Chambertin (Bob, Neil), took his chance, Tracked leader, joined leader and every chance from 3 out, driven run-in, ran on to lead post, winning by a nose, he gets 13.8 points.
At Ascot in the 2m 3f grade 2 hurdle, Oscar Whiskey ( Martin, Steve, Tony), went to post, Made all, pushed readily clear after 2 out, unchallenged after, eased flat, winning impressively by 8l. He gets 26.5 points.
At
Haydock in the 3m grade 1 Lancashire Chase, Silviniaco
Conti ( Cliff, John, Neil, Steve), went to post, made all, jumped well, not
fluent last, kept on well flat, winning by 2 ½ l. He
gets 27.2 points.
At Gowran Park on Saturday, Hidden Cyclone ( Bob,
John, Peej), took his chance in the 2m 4f chase, Made most, disputed
early until led before 3rd, joined briefly 7th, kept on well in straight and in
control from before last, winning by 4 ½ l. He gets
13.5 points.
At Navan on Sunday in the 2m maiden hurdle, Don Cossack ( Cliff, John,
Martin ) took his chance, Tracked leaders in 3rd, went 2nd from 5 out,
disputed lead when not fluent 3 out, led travelling well next, niggled along
before last, stayed on well run-in, eased close home, winning impressively by 9
½ l. He gets 11.4 points.
