Lightly raced 5 year
old, he made his debut at Wincanton in December 201, finishing 5th in a 2m
bumper, beaten 21 ¾ l by Lechlade Magician, then was 3rd in a 2m 5f
novice hurdle at Kempton in March this year, beaten 7 ¼ l by Chosen Path, and
finished the season with 5th at Cheltenham in April, in a 2m 4f
novice hurdle, 6 3/ 4l behind Diese Des Bieffes. He returned at Chepstow in
October finishing 3rd in the 2m 3f grade 2 Persian War novice
hurdle, 22l behind Secret Investor. Philip Hobbs believes he is one of his best
novices, so it will be interesting to see if he lives up to expectations.
