Improving young hurdler,
he has won 3 of his 6 starts under rules. He made his debut in a 3m point at
Bellurgan Park in April 2017, winning by 4l. He moved to Jon Jo O’Neill and made his debut at Worcester in
October that year, beating Hattaab 7l in a 2m bumper, then was 5th
in a 2m 4f maiden hurdle at Aintree beaten 13 ¾ l by On The Blind Side , then
finished 2nd in a 2m maiden hurdle at Huntingdon in November ,
beaten 1l by Clondaw Castle. He moved to Ben Pauling in January this year and
made a winning debut for his new yard in February taking a 2m novice hurdle at
Southwell by 8l from Euxton Lane. He followed up at Kempton, winning a grade 2
hurdle by 9l from Scarlet Dragon, and finished the season with 6th
in the 2m grade 1 novice hurdle at Aintree in April, beaten 12 ¾ l by Lalor.
Ben Pauling told the
punter A horse that we’re very excited about. You didn’t see the best of Global
Citizen at Aintree, but you did see him at Kempton. We’re going to keep him
over hurdles and possibly start him off in the Listed race at Kempton on
October 21
Trainer B.Pauling
