High Class
and rapidly improving 6 year old, who is lightly raced , Nicky Henderson
described him as one of the revelations of last season.
He made his
debut at Kempton in February 3013, finishing 2nd in a 2 m bumper, 3 ¾ l behind Such a
Legend, then went to Punchestown in April, where he was 6th in a 2m
2f bumper, 13 ½ l behind Lots of Memories. He reappeared in November last year, winning a 2m 3f maiden
hurdle by 10 l from the highly regarded Champagne West, then was 2nd
in a 2m 4f grade 2 novice hurdle, beaten 2 ½ l when giving 3lb to Kilala Quay.
Considered to inexperienced for Cheltenham, he went to Aintree and won the 3m
grade 1 Sefton novice hurdle by 4l from Cole Harden, and then went to
Punchestown and won the 3m grade 1 novice hurdle by ¾ l from Don Poli. He is
likely to go chasing this season, and should end up in the RSA at the festival.
