5 y Ch m Jukebox Jury – Midnight Way (Bob, Cod)

Very smart mare, she made her debut at Stowlin in May last year winning a 3m 4 year mares maiden point by 40 l from Chiroqui Princess, then moved to Willie Mullins and in December won a 2m 2f bumper at Punchestown by 5l from Derryville, then in February this year at Punchestown, followed up in a 2m grade 2 mares bumper beating Switch from Diesel 7 ½ l. In March at Cheltenham she won the 2m Champion Bumper by 1 ½ l from Heads Up (gave 7lb), and finished at Punchestown in April, winning the 2m grade 1 Champion bumper by 2 ¼ l from Switch From Diesel.

Willie Mullins told The Punter: :She’ll go novice hurdling and we’ll start her off in mares’ races if we can. She’s one that could end up taking on the boys, but I’m always a believer in winning the races you can at Cheltenham and come home with a winner rather than a loser, so I’d imagine she’ll be one for the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle if all goes well through the season. It would be hard to think that we might end up with a better mare than her. She races lazily enough and if she looked like she wanted further, the Ballymore would be there as an option too."
