News
Richard Hannon believes Rosallion could be the best horse in the stable's 56-year history after he revealed the Irish 2,000 Guineas and St James's Palace Stakes winner has continued to dazzle at home in preparation for next week's Qatar Sussex Stakes.

Aidan O'Brien said everything looks ideal at Ascot for Auguste Rodin, who will form a powerful Ballydoyle strikeforce with stablemate Luxembourg in Saturday's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes. A tweak in tactics has helped bring out the best in Auguste Rodin, who turned up for the race last year as the Epsom and Irish Derby winner but trailed in last of ten. He arrives this time off an emphatic victory in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot and O'Brien is hopeful of a much better performance in his second crack at the race.

News

York looks like the next stop on the City Of Troy tour after Aidan O'Brien said connections are swaying towards the Juddmonte International for the poster boy of the Flat season. City Of Troy has already won the Derby and the Eclipse this summer, and the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes had been nominated by O'Brien as one of three possible targets for City Of Troy following his Sandown success, but he is set to sidestep that summer showpiece at Ascot on Saturday week in favour of another crack at a mile and a quarter, this time on the Knavesmire.

There was a first sighting of emphatic Dante winner Economics since May on the Al Bahathri Polytrack gallop very early on Tuesday morning, with the flashy chestnut already on the down canter to use the mile facility at 5.45am.

News
City Of Troy and White Birch are in line for an epic clash of the generations in Saturday's Coral-Eclipse (3.35), but Roger Teal thinks Dancing Gemini is a Group 1 winner-in-waiting and could spoil the party.

Last year's superstar sprinter Vandeek is on course for a rematch with Haydock conqueror Inisherin in next weekend's My Pension Expert July Cup (4.35) at Newmarket. Vandeek started the season as one of the most exciting three-year-olds in training following an unbeaten juvenile campaign which concluded with victory in the Group 1 Middle Park Stakes in the colours of owner Sheikh Khalid Al Khalifa. He made his reappearance in the Sandy Lane as a red-hot favourite but could finish no better than a disappointing third.

News
Ascot Gold Cup one-two Kyprios and Trawlerman could be set for a rematch next month after both were entered on Tuesday for the Al Shaqab Goodwood Cup. Kyprios prevailed by a length over Trawlerman in a thrilling finish to win his second Gold Cup last Thursday and his trainer Aidan O'Brien could plot a similar course with his star stayer after he followed up victory at the royal meeting in 2022 with success at Glorious Goodwood.

Derby one-two City Of Troy and Ambiente Friendly feature in the 37 entries for the £1.25 million feature Group 1 on the opening day of the Ebor meeting in August. Economics, an impressive six-length winner of the Dante over course and distance last month, and Tattersalls Gold Cup winner White Birch are other notable potential participants.
