Mare who made her debut at Uttoxeter in October 2020, finishing 5^th in a 2m mares bumper, beaten 9 ½ l behind Ishkhara Lady, then won a similar event at Wetherby in November by 2l from Chosen Port. In January last year she finished 3^rd at Doncaster in another 2 mares bumper beaten 2l b Marshmallo, then in March at Sandown in a 2m listed mares bumper was 14^th, beaten 45 ¾ l behind Flirtatious Girl. She reappeared at Wincanton last December ,finishing 4^th in a 2m mares novice hurdle, beaten 7 ¼ l behind Petticoat Lucy, then then in January this year was 3^{rd d} at Bangor in a 2m mares novice hurdle 12 ¾l  behind Corey’s Courage. She then went to Uttoxeter in a similar event, finishing 5^th, this time 15 ¾ l behind Corey’s Courage,(gave 7lb), and finished the season at Catterick with a 2 ¼ l second to Betty Baloo in another 2 mares novice hurdle. She reappeared in October in a race that seems key to Martin, a 2m mares novice hurdle, finishing 2^nd 8l behind Letterston Lady (received 1 lb), where All The Glory was 5^th. She is difficult to asses, but could come in to her own in hamdicap hurdles

They don’t come much darker than this black gelding who has one run in a point to point at Ballyvodock in January this year, winning a 5Y  maiden point by 20 l from Good For Scope. He really could be anything, and will probably start in bumpers.

Mare who has shown useful form in bumpers and was probably unlucky not to win at Newbury. She made her debut at in May last year, finishing 3^rd in a 2m mares bumper, beaten 15 ½ l behind Malaita (gave 3lb), then , then at Warwick in November filled the same spot in a similar event, beaten 6 ½ l behind Game on For Glory, then at Carlisle in December, was second in another 2m 1f mares bumper, beaten 17 l by Nell’s Bells (received 7lb). She then went to Newbury in February this year finishing 4^th in another 2m mares bumper, beaten 3l by Presenting a Queen, but was carried left in the final furlong and her trainer feels she was an unlucky loser. Her final start last season saw her finish 6^th  at Aintree in a 2m 1f grade 2 mares bumper beaten 18 ½ l behind Ashroe Diamond. She reappeared at Worcester in mid October, finishing 5^th, beaten 23 ¼ l behind Letterston Lady in a 2m mares novice hurdle. Jon Jo O’Neill feels she is a stayer and will improve when stepped up in trip

A top class chaser, ideally suited by 2 ½ miles,  he won last years RyanAir chase at the festival and looks booked for the same again this season. He made his debut at Leopardstown on Boxing day 2018,  finishing 4^th, beaten 4 ¾ l behind Exit Poll. He reappeared at Clonmel in February winning a 3m grade 3 novice hurdle by 4l from Minella Indo, then at Cheltenham in March, finished 3^rd in the 3m grade 1 Albert Bartlett novice hurdle, beaten 9l behind Minella Indo, and finished the season at Punchestown in May, finishing 2^nd in the 3m grade 1 novice hurdle, beaten 2l by Minella Indo. He reappeared at Leopardstown in December 2019, finishing 2^nd in a 2m 5f Beginners Chase, beaten 1 ¾ l behind Easy Game, then, in January at Fairyhouse, took a similar event by 21 l from Milan Native, and then at Cheltenham in March finished 3^rd the 3m grade 1 RSA Novice chase, beaten 2l behind Champ. He reappeared at Punchestown in December 2020, finishing a disappointing 6^th in the 2m 4f grade 1 John Durkan memorial chase, beaten 433 m3/4 l behind Min, then at Leopradstown 3 weeks later was 4^th in the 3m grade 1 Savills chase, beaten 20 l behind A Plus Tard. In January 2021 he won a grade 2 2m 4f chase at Thurles beating Elimay (received 2lb ) by 3l, then T Cheltenham in March won the 2m 4f grade 1 chase by 12l from Fakir D’Oudairies, and  finished the season at Punchestown, finishing 2^nd to Chacun Por Soi in the 2m Champion Chase.

He reappeared at Punchestown in December last year, winning the 2m 4f grade 1 Jiohn Durkan memorial chase by 2l from Janidil, then in January at Thurles, won a grade 2 2m 4f chase by 12l from Fakir D’Oudairies. In March at Cheltenham he gain won the 2m 4gf grade 1 Ryan Air chase, by 14 l from Janidil, and finished the season at Punchestown, taking the 3m grade 1 chase by 14l from Clan Des Obeaux.

2022/23 Jumps - Editor's Introduction

Once again we look forward to a season where new kids on the blocks challenge the established stars and the biggest clash we await is between Constitution Hill and Honeysuckle.  Whilst Constitution looked awesome in novice company, it is always a big step up to Championship level, and Honeysuckle gets the 7lb mares allowance. It will be fascinating.

High class hurdler Jonbon goes novice chasing, and if he takes to fences, sets a very high standard. Paisley Park showed he could still serve it up to Flooring Porter in the stayers hurdle division and Monkfish is a big name returning from injury in the Gold Cup picture, and the 2 mile chasers Energumene , Greaneteen, Edwardstone, and a fully fit again Shishkin should serve some up some tasty clashes. 

The 3m plus division has a host of decent horses behind A Plus Tard and so there should be plenty of points to be picked up.

Two interesting high class recruits from the flat go hurdling, in Scriptwriter and High definition, and Thyme Hill goes novice chasing . We have 105 different horses, a fine spread again,  26 are profiled.
