We start at Cheltenham last Saturday where in the grade 3 handicap chase, Frodon ( Micky ) took his chance, Chased leaders, closed 4 out, 2nd last, soon led, driven out, winning by 1 ½ l , he gets 82.6 points.


At Cork on Sunday in the 2m 1f grade 2 chase, Douvan ( Not Steve), went to post, Soon led, jumped well, asserted after 4 out, not fluent 3 out, kept on well, winning  impressively by 22l. he gets 21.1 points.

In the 2m 1f grade 3 mares novice chase, Listen Dear ( Tony) took her chance, Soon led, 6 lengths clear at 6th, reduced advantage at 8th, asserted after 4 out, kept on well, winning very easily by 8l. She gets 33. Points.
At Punchestown in the 2m 4f grade 1 John Durkan Memorial chase, Djakadam ( Bob, Cliff, Cod, Tony), went to post, Close up in 2nd, hit 7th, on terms 5 out, led after 2 out, quickly pressed, stayed on best run-in, winning by 1 ¼ l. He gets 26.6 points.

On Monday at Plumpton in the 2m 4f novice hurdle, No Comment ( Bob, Steve), took his chance, Tracked leaders, 2nd 3 out, led going well next, clear last, winning cosily by 2 ¾ l. He gets 11.7 points.

At Exeter today in the 2m 1f graduation chase, Le Prezien ( Steve), took his chance, Le Prezien was largely accurate over his fences and, with his race and market rival conceding ground at every fence in the home straight, needed only to be pushed out for a comfortable victory, winning  by2 ¾ l . He gets 27.6 points.

Connections of Thistlecrack have still yet to decide whether to pitch the exciting prospect into the 32Red King George VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.

Ruby Walsh declared himself to be happy with Djakadam's winning return in the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase on Sunday, "I suppose on ratings he was entitled to win but he didn't do anything that we didn't think he was capable of doing," he said.
"It was a good performance. He jumped really well in the main, he made one mistake at the bottom of the hill but he just got a little bit tired but he quickened up well going to the second last.

We start at Sandown last Saturday where in the 2m Grade 1 Henry V111 novice chase, Altior (not Tony), took his chance, Jumped well, tracked leading pair, reached for 4th, closed approaching 3 out, 2nd approaching 2 out, just over 1 length down last, led soon after last, quickened readily clear run-in, winning impressively by 6l. He gets 21.2 points.

In the 2m listed handicap hurdle, Brain Power ( Steve ) took his chance, Took keen hold, waited with in touch, smooth headway on outside into 2nd 2 out, led on bit approaching last, clear when idled in front, always just doing enough , winning by ¾ l. He gets 60.4 points.

In the 2m grade 1 Tingle Creek chase Un De Sceaux ( Cliff, Lee, Martin, , Tony)  went to post, Tracked clear leader, led 8th, mistake and joined 2 out, slight lead when bad mistake last, ridden and headed briefly run-in, in front again and found extra to assert final 100 yards, winning by 1l. He gets 26.9 points.

At Aintree in the 3m 1f listed chase, Many Clouds ( Cod), went to post, Made all, 2 1/2 lengths ahead last, clear flat, stayed on well, winning by 3 ½ l. he gets 37 points.

On Sunday at Fairyhouse, Landofhopeandglory (Neil), went to post in the 2m grade 3 juvenile hurdle, Tracked leaders, 3rd halfway, progress to challenge entering straight, pushed along approaching last and led early run-in, ridden and kept on well, winning by 1l. He gets 33.6 points.

In the 2m grade 1 Royal Bond Hurdle, Airlie Beach ( Cod, Tony), went to post, Led, joined briefly 3 out, jumped left next, ridden to go 4 lengths clear approaching last, kept on well run-in , winning by 6 ½ l He gets 29.6 points.

In the grade 1 2m 4f Hattons Grace hurdle Apples Jade ( Cod, Lee, Martin, Micky ) took her chance, Tracked leader, 2nd halfway, progress to lead entering straight, strongly pressed and joined last, kept on well under pressure run-in, led close home, winning by a short head, she gets 28.6 points.

At Kelso, in the 2m 7f novice chase, Aux Petit Soins ( Cliff, Cod, Lee, Martin, Micky,Neil Steve), went to post, Tracked leaders, led 4th, headed before 6th, led 2 out, blundered last, kept on winning by 1l, he gets 14.3 points.

He said: "He's now three from three over hurdles. He won nicely and came through the race pretty well. "Barry (Geraghty) was happy with him and they sprinted down the last two up the straight which wouldn't have played to our horse's strengths but it was nice that he got away with it

In the immediate aftermath of the Newbury contest, in which the six-year-old maintained Tizzard's fine run of form this season with a half-length defeat of Carole's Destrier, the red-hot handler appeared cool on the prospect of heading to Chepstow for the second-season chaser's next start, saying: "He's a stayer but he might just be a bit better than that."
However, the December 27 marathon is back on the agenda after Tizzard told the Punter  "We're now very keen to go for the Welsh National.
"He's gone up 8lb for winning the Hennessy and only has a 4lb penalty to carry at Chepstow. The chances are we'll run him and we're certainly aiming that way at the moment

We start at Newbury last Friday where in the 2m maiden hurdle, Jenkins ( Steve), took his chance, Held up in touch, went 2nd before 3 out, led before last, kept on strongly, winning by 5l. He gets 23.8 points.

In the 2m 3f grade 2 novice chase, Clan Des Obeaux ( Steve), went to post, Tracked leaders, went 2nd 5 out, led after 3 out, clear before last winning by 10l. He gets 36.8 points.

On Saturdau at Newcastle, Elgin ( Cliff) went to post in the 2m maiden hurdle, Held up mid-division, headway before 4th, challenged before 2 out, led last, held on well towards finish, ridden out, winning by 2 ½ l. He gets 26.8 points.
At Newbury in the 2m mares listed hurdle La Bague Au Roi (Martin), took her chance, Made all, 2 lengths ahead last, stayed on strongly, winning unchallenged by 3 ¼ l. She gets 28.4 points.

In the 2m 7f grade 2 novice chase Thistlecrack (Not Tony), went to post, jumped well, made all, winning unchallenged by 8l. He gets 16.1 points.

In the 3m 2f Hennessy Gold Cup chase, Native River (Micky), took his chance, Led 2nd until after 5th, front rank after, challenged 3 out, led again before last, clear when idled and driven run-in, held on, winning by ½ l. He gets 109.2 points.

At Doncaster in the 2m 3f novice hurdle, Snow Leopardess (Neil), took her chance, Tracked leader, led after 4 out, slowed into 3 out, soon headed, led again next, clear flat, stayed on well, winning by 4 ½ l. She gets 22.2 points.
At Gowran Park in the 2m maiden hurdle, Invitation Only Bob, Lee), went to post, Made all, some slight mistakes, pressed from last, stayed on best to assert closing stages, winning by 2 ¼ l He gets 11.2 points.

On Sunday at Navan Min ( Tony) took her chance in the 2m 1f beginners chase, Made all, wandered approaching 1st, went clear from 3 out, stayed on strongly from last, winning  easily ,by 10l , she gets 22.4 points.
In the 2m 4f beginners chase, Bellshill ( Tony), took his chance, Tracked leader, on terms approaching 3 out, led before 2 out, soon asserted, stayed on well run-in, winning comfortably by 10l, He gets 22.4 points

At Plumpton on Monday in the 2m 1f novice chase, Top Notch ( Martin), went to post, Jumped well, made all, clear when shaken up between last 2, unchallenged , winning by 6l . He gets 22.2 points.
