2024/25 Jumps Profile - Flying Fortune

5 y br m Soldier of Fortune – Turbo Linn  (Martin, Peej)

Useful mare with a good wins to runs ratio, she made her debut at Ludlow in January 2023, finishing 3rd in a 2m mares bumper, beaten 3 ½ l by Inion Tiogair, then in February at Market Rasen in a 2m listed mares bumper, was 4th, beaten 7 ½ l behind Dysart Enos ( gave 6lb.) She got off the mark at Stratford in March winning a 2m bumper by 2l from Ballee,(gave 4lb) then in May at Haydock, won another 2m bumper by 7l from Parade Away (received 1lb). 

She reappeared in September at Worcester in a 2m maiden hurdle, beaten 11l behind Push The Button (gave 7lb), then in October at Newton Abbot, finished 2nd in a 2m 1f novice hurdle beaten 3l by Farnoge (gave 8 lb). In November at Ffos Las she was 5th beaten 19 ½ l behind Three Cliff’s Bay (gave 7lb), in a 2m novice hurdle, then in March this year in a 2m 4f handicap hurdle was 2nd beaten ½ l by Hostile Hotelier (received 3 lb). In June at Uttoxeter she was 2nd beaten 2 ½ l behind Gale Mahler (gave 6lb) in a 2m 4f novice hurdle , then a Market Rasen in July won a 2m 4f handicap hurdle by 1 ½ l from Clare Rose (received 5lb). 

She followed up at Worcester in August winning a 2m 4f mares novice hurdle by 1 ½ l from Scarlet O’Tara and in September won again over course and distance beating Ebony Warrior (received 1 lb), in a handicap hurdle. Her latest win came at Chepstow in October winning a 2m 3f grade 2 novice hurdle by 7 ½ l from Intense Approach (gave 7lb), and looks capable of more improvement.
