Smart 2 year old colt who made his debut at Newmarket last May, in a 6f maiden, winning by 2 ¼ l from Electrical Storm, then finished ½ l 2^nd at Royal Ascot in the 6f group 2 Coventry stakes , behind Arizona. He then finished ¾ l 2^nd at Goodwood in August in the 6f group 2 Richmond stakes, behind Golden Horde, then at the end of the month, won the 6f Group 2 Gimcrack stakes at York by 1 ¼ l from Lord of the Lodge. He followed up at Doncaster in July, winning the 7f group 2 Champagne stakes from Royal Crusade (received 3lb), and finished the season with 5^th place at Newmarket in the 6f Group 1 Middle Park stakes, 3 ¼ l behind Earthlight. He should certainly win more decent races this season, and does hold an Irish 2000 Guineas entry.
