Top class hurdler who has won 6 of his
8 starts, although only last season, he finished as the highest rated British
trained 2m hurdler on a mark of
167. He started his career
on a winning note on 18 May 2014 in a 2m bumper at Market Rasen, beating Double
WS 14l. He reappeared in February
2015 at Newbury in a 2m bumper and finished 3rd beaten 3 ¼ l by
Barters Hill. He then went to Punchestown for the Irish Champion Bumper and
could finish only 6th , 8 ½ l behind Belshill. Since then he is
unbeaten in 5 runs, The run started at Chepstow last October where he won a 2m
novice hurdle by 34l from Murray Mount, then followed up at Ascot in a similar event beating
Ch’Tibello 1 ¼ l.
Stepped up in class at Cheltenham next
he took a grade 2 novice hurdle by ½ l from Maputo, then at Kempton took
another 2m novice hurdle by 13l from the Mullins trained Open Eagle. He
finished the season in style at the Cheltenham Festival landing the Supreme
novice hurdle by 7l from Min. At present he seems due to go novice chasing, and
if he takes to it,will surely be a hot favourite for the Arkle come March, and
if not, he can revert to hurdles and be a major player in the Champion Hurdle.
