2015 Flat Profile - Remote

Remote 5 y bh Dansili – Zenda   (Steve)
Smart but presumably fragile colt who has won 3 of his 4 starts, he was unraced at 2, and made his debut at 3 in May 2013, finishing 3rd in a 1m 2f maiden at Pontefract beaten 7l by Boite. He then won a similar maiden at Newbury by 3l from Dare to Achieve, then in June won a 1m handicap by 6l , beating Baltic Knight (gave 9lb). He was last seen at Royal Ascot in June 2013, wining a 1m 2f group 3 by ¾ l from Shikarapour. I have no idead what went wrong with him, but he has group 1 entries over 1m 2 and 1m 4f and if back to his beast, should prove a points earner.

2015 Flat Profile - Ol Man River

Ol Man River 3 y bc Montjeu – Finsceal Beo (Cod, Lee, Neil, Tony)
Unbeaten colt who made his debut at the end of August, winning a 1m Curragh maiden by 3 /4 l from Aared, and followed up over course and distance a month later taking a1m Group 2 stakes by 2 ¾ l from Clonard Street.
He hold entries in both the English and Irish Guineas and Derbies and is bred to be a top class performer, but will have to find his place in the Ballydoyle pecking order.

2015 Flat Profile - Light Breaks

Light Breaks 3 y bg Dylanthomas – Anywaysmile (Martin)
One of the very dark horses this season, he ran 3 times as a two year old, making his debut at Kempton in a 7f maiden in September , finishing 9th, beaten 17 l by Bow And Arrow, then finished a modest 6th in a 1m maiden at Newcastle , beaten 10 l by Stravgante, then was 6th at Brighton in November in another 1m maiden, beaten 28l by Follow the Faith in heavy ground. He reappeared at Ayr on 27th April , finishing 4th beaten 12 1/2l by Chilworth Bells, in a 1m 2f handicap, and is from a yard that gets multiple small handicap wins from tghis sort, so could be very interesting in the next few weeks.

2015 Flat Profile - Lap of Luxury

Lap Of Luxury 3 y ch f Galileo – Halland Park Lass (Peej)
Another who falls in to the could be any thing category, she won her only start, a 6f maiden fillies stakes at Haydock over 6f at the end of September, beating Excilly ½ l. Sent off at 10/1, the 2nd was 4/7 f , she no doubt surprised connections some what and holds a 1000 guineas entry, and should do well in decent mile races this season.

2015 Flat Profile - Kingston Hill

Kingston Hill 4 y gr c Mastercraftsman – Audacieuse  ( Neil, Tony)
High class colt who has won 4 of his 8 starts, but will need a wet summer if we are to see much of him this season. He won his first 3 starts as a two year old, a 7f maiden at Newbury in September 2013, beating Exchequer 1 ½ l, followed up at Newmarket in October in a 1m group 3, beating Oklahoma City 2l, and then 2 weeks later won the v1m Group 1 Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster, beating Johann Strauss 4 ½ l.  The ground tellingly was soft on 2 occassions and good to soft the other. Last season he reappeared at Newmarket in May in the 2000 guineas, beaten 5l in 8th behind Night of Thunder, then ran very well to be 1 ¼ l 2nd to Australia in the Derby at Epsom, then found the firm ground against him at Sandown in the Eclipse stakes when only 4th, 4l behind Mukhadram.
Class and the longer trip saw him land the Group 1 St Leger at Doncaster by 1 ¼ l from Romsdal, and finished with a creditable 4th at Longchamp in the Arc, 4l behind Treve. He will be aimed at the top middle distance races, and Roger Varian has already stated his campaign is dependant on the weather.

2015 Flat Profile - Jellicle Ball

Jellicle Ball 3 bf Invincible Sprit – Dance Troupe (Lee, Martin, Tony)
Filly who made a winning debut at Kempton in October beating Lovely Memory by 1l, but it was the winning time and final closing sectional that had time form experts purring, she actually clocked the fastest final 3 furlongs by a two year old in both 2013 and 2014.  She holds entries in a 6f stakes (worth £100,000), the 1000 guineas and the Oaks for which she is a 33/1 shot. That may stretch her stamina but she should be a fun filly to follow.
Traner John Gosden.

2015 Flat profile - Fintry

Fintry  4y bf Shamardal – Campsie Fells  (Bob)

Stepped up to listed class over 1m at Chantilly in May she won by 6l from Anhaita, then followed up over course and distance in a 3 y fillies group 2 , beating La Hoguette 1 ¼ l then at the end of August, took a 1m group 3 for fillies and mares by 1 1/4l from Odeliz, and finished the season at Newmarket in October in the 1m group 1 Sun Chariot stakes for fillies and Mares, finishing 3rd beaten 1l behind Integral, She will win her share of races if not over tried this season.
