Useful sort who has won 5 of his 10 starts. He got off the mark at the third time of asking at Fairyhouse last November, winning a 2m bumper by 5 ½ l from Tarare, then was 4th at Ascot in a listed bumper in December , beaten 12 ½ l by Couer Blimey. He was then 2nd at Navan in a 2m maiden hurdle, 3l behind Gurteen, then won a 2m 3f maiden hurdle at Clonmel by 47 l  from Crown Hill. 2nd at Downpatrick in March this year in a 2m 2f hurdle, 3 ½ l behind Jimmy Two Times, he was then only 9th at Punchestown in April in a 2m 4f handicap Hurdle. He has now won 3 in a row, a 2m 6f hurdle at Navan in September by 8 ½ l from Moylisha Tim, another 2m 6f hurdle at Thurles by 5l from Bentelimar, and finally a 2m 4f hurdle at Naas recently beating Jett 8l. He is due to go novice chasing and his trainer expects improvement when he does. He should certainly pay his way.

Developed in to a high class novice chaser last season and should make his mark in the top 3 mile chases this season, with the King George at Kempton currently being a target.

He started his career in France as a 3 year old and got off the mark at the third time of asking, winning a maiden hurdle over 2 m 2f by a neck from Brin De Thaix in September 2014. He then came across the water and made his British debut at Chepstow in December, beating Karezak 6l in a 2m Grade 1 Juvenile hurdle. Placed in his 4 subsequent runs his next win came at Warwick last November when he won a 2m novice chase, again beating Karezak, this time by 19l. . He was then 2nd at Sandown in the 2m Grade 1 Henry V11 novice chase, finishing 10 l behind Ar Mad, then won his next 3, a 2m 4f novice chase at Leicester, beating Bon Chic 7l, then a 2m 4f grade 2 novice chase at Haydock, beating Amore Alato 32l, then the 2m 4f Grade 1 Scilly Isles novice chase at Sandown, beating As De Mee 6l. He finished the season with 2 good 2nd places, at Cheltenham in the 2m 4f grade 1 JLT Novice chase, finishing 3l behind Black Hercules, then at Ayr, in a 2m 4f grade 2 novice chase, beaten 7l by Le Mercurey.

One of the Gigginstown horses to leave Willie Mullins in the summer he was a high class bumper, winning 3 of his 4 starts. He made his debut at Punchestown in December 2015, finishing a neck 2nd to Tamlough Boy in a 2m bumper, then won at Navan in February in a similar event, beating Jett 4l. He followed up at Fairyhouse in March beating Death Duty  13/4 l, and finished the season winning the Irish Champion Bumper at Punchestown by ¾ l from Moon Racer. I would assume he goes novice hurdling and he looks a high class prospect.

Top class novice chaser last season, he has won 7 of his 11 starts in total. He made a winning debut in a 3m point at Dromahane in April 2013, beating Are You listening 6l, then made a wining debut under rules for Willie Mullins in a 2m bumper at Punchestown in December, beating Cillian’s Return 2 ½ l. He won a similar event at Gowran Park in January 2014, beating Monty’s Meadow 8 ½ l then ran a good 4th at Cheltenham in the festival bumper, beaten 4 ½ l by Silver Concorde, then finished a disappointing 11th in the Punchestown equivalent. He reappeared at Cork in November 2014, winning a 2m maiden hurdle by 2 ¼ l from A Hardy Nailer, then followed up at the same track, taking a grade 3 stayers novice hurdle by 2 ½ l from Alpha Des Obeaux. He disappointed at Cheltenham in March last year, finishing only 7th in the 3m grade 1 Albert Bartlett novice hurdle. He reappeared last season in a 2m 4f beginners chase at Navan in December , beating Sambremont 112l, then came over to Warwick in January and won a 3m novice chase by 2 ¾ l from Definitely Red. He then fell in a 3m novice chase at Navan in February, but finished the season as a Cheltenham winner, taking the 2m 4f grade 1 JLT novice chase by 3l from Bristol De Mai. He will win his races and I understand he is more likely to be aimed at the Ryan Air than the Gold Cup.

Useful sort but probably some way down the pecking order in the Mullins battalions, he made his debut at Loughanmore in a 3m maiden point in April 2015, where he fell. He made his rules debut at Punchestown in January this year, winning a 2m bumper by 2 1/4l from Presenting Percy. He then came to Cheltenham and improved markedly to finish a nose 2nd to Ballyandy in the Champion bumper in March, then was 2nd to stable mate Barcardys at Aintree in April beaten ½ l in a grade 2 bumper. He should win novice hurdles at least, but may be just below the top rank
