He made his debut at Knockanard in February 2023 finishing 2nd in a 2m 4f 4year old maiden point, beaten ¾ l by No Flies On Him. He made his rules debut at Ascot in November last year, winning a 2m novice hurdle by a nose from Tellherthename, then followed up Aintree in December, winning the 2m grade 1 Formby novice hurdle by 2 ¾ l from Favour And Fortune. In February this year at Huntingdon he was 2nd in a 2m 4f listed novice hurdle, beaten 1 ½ l by Handstands (received 5lb), then at Kelso in March in a grade 2 , 2m 2f novice hurdle was 2nd beaten ½ l by Personal Ambition (received 5lb.) He finished the season at Aintree, finishing 2nd in a 2m 4f Premier handicap hurdle, beaten 1 ¾ l by Kateria (received 3lb.
Nicky Henderson told The Punter He did extremely well in his first season over hurdles and won the Tolworth was run at Aintree for the first time. He sort of suffered as a result of that win as he was carrying a 5lb penalty in two Grade 2s and then ran really well at Aintree after being badly hampered two out. He has done very well over the summer, and he now goes novice chasing where he could well go to the top
