2024/25 Jumps Profile - Inthewaterside

Highly regarded at Ditcheat, and Paul Nicholls says one of the biggest horses he has ever trained, he is an exciting novice hurdle prospect this season. He made his debut at Exeter in December last year, winning a 2m bumper by 1l from Take No Chances, (received 7lb), then followed up at Sandown in February this year wining a category 1 open bumper by 6 ½ l from Ten lengths Tom ( received 16lb). 

He reappeared at Aintree at the end of October, winning a 2m 4f maiden hurdle by a head from Jagwar (received 2lb), then in November at Ascot was was 4th, beaten 5 ¼ l in a 2m Introductory hurdle behind Doddiethegreat. In January at Lingfield in a 2m 4f novice handicap hurdle he won by 2 ¼ l from He’s A Latchio (received 19 lb), then in February at Ascot in a 2m 4f novice hurdle, finished 2nd beaten 2 ¼ l by Pic Roc (received 8 lb). He finished the season at Aintree finishing 3rd in a 2m 4f handicap hurdle, beaten 5 ¼ l behind Kateria (gave 7lb). 

Paul Nicholls told the Punter. He is a horse with huge potential this season as hr goes novice chasing, and he will start over 2 m 4f.
