Limato might head to Haydock for the 32Red Sprint Cup on Saturday week if conditions were suitable after returning to form with his first victory of the season at Newmarket.
The 2016 July Cup hero was back at the scene of his famous triumph to land the Listed Hopeful Stakes on Saturday.
Trainer Henry Candy reported the six-year-old to have taken the race well, but is in no hurry to firm up future plans, although Haydock could be a possible target if he got his favoured fast ground.
"He's fine," said Candy. "No plans. We'll just see how he is and how the weather is.
"He could go to Haydock if everything was OK."
Havana Grey may return to the Curragh next month following his fine effort in the Coolmore Nunthorpe at York on Friday.
Karl Burke's three-year-old was beaten three lengths into fifth place on the Knavesmire, despite racing on his own on the far side of the track at the business end of the race.

Dean Ivory plans to bypass an outing in the 32Red Sprint Cup at Haydock with Librisa Breeze in favour of heading straight to Ascot for the defence of his Qipco British Champions Sprint title on October 20.
The gelded son of Mount Nelson has failed to rediscover the form that saw him capture the Group One prize in four starts so far this season, including last time out when trailing home last in the Hungerford Stakes at Newbury.
Ivory told The Punter: "I ran him a bit too quick at Newbury after Deauville. The time was four seconds slower than the standard and the race was not run to suit us.
"We will go for the Champions Sprint now. He has had two quick runs and that has taken a lot out of him.

Oisin Murphy is looking forward to riding Roaring Lion in next week's Juddmonte International back at York after his demolition job in the Dante on the Knavesmire earlier in the season.
The John Gosden-trained grey has subsequently run well in the Investec Derby before winning the Coral-Eclipse back over 10 furlongs and everything looks in place for another big run.
Saxon Warrior, Kew Gardens  form part of a strong Aidan O'Brien raiding party for next week's Welcome To Yorkshire Ebor Festival at York.
Winner of the QIPCO 2000 Guineas, Saxon Warrior switched to ten furlongs for the first time when second behind Roaring Lion in the Coral-Eclipse at Sandown and he is heading for a rematch with John Gosden’s star in the Juddmonte International.

Roger Varian will not rush Willie John up in class after he returned from a lengthy absence to win at Doncaster recently.
Bought out of William Haggas' yard for an eye-watering 1.9 million guineas to dissolve a partnership, the half-brother to Dreamfield bolted up on Town Moor by five lengths.
He holds an entry in the Juddmonte International at York, but Varian admits he would have needed more experience to take up that entry."It was nice to get him on the track, as he had an early-season setback. We've had to be patient, but it is nice to get him back on the track and confirm he is a nice horse," said Varian."He won't be confirmed for the Juddmonte. We will try to make gradual progress with him, as he is potentially a very nice horse, albeit for the autumn or for next year."We will try to go up through the grades gradually."
Willie John is also entered for the Qipco Champion Stakes at Ascot in October.

Roger Varian is eyeing up a race in Germany for smart middle-distance performer Defoe before a possible crack at the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
Varian told the punter: "We are training him for the Grosser Preis von Baden at Baden-Baden on September 2, which is a mile-and-a-half Group One.
"Ground is a big thing for him and it is just the fast ground we want to avoid.

Stradivarius will bid to land the Weatherbys Hamilton Stayers Million by virtue of a victory in the Weatherbys Hamilton Lonsdale Cup on Friday, August 24. Coronet is another key Gosden-trained runner at York – she is heading towards the Darley Yorkshire Oaks on Thursday, August 23. Muntahaa is due to run in the Ebor.
