One of the darker horses, but from a yard that has not really featured much in theses pages considering it’s success in recent seasons, but Martin has gone with a few this season, and Haggas is very shrewd at placing his horses, and has one of the best winners / runners strike rates in the country. This colt is owned by the Queen, so expect him to be aimed at Royal Ascot, he made his debut at Yarmouth last October in a 7f novice stakes, beaten 2 ½ l by stable by stable mate Willie John (also in Martins string). He reappeared at Newbury in April, finishing 5^th in a 1m maiden, beaten 11 ¼ l by Adjutant. He will need another run to get a handicap mark, then I think we will see rapid improvement  He does hold a 2000 guineas entry, so will be worth following at that distance when handicapped.
