Top class 2 year old, who heads the
2000 guineas betting. He made his debut at the Curragh in May last year winning
a 6f maiden by a neck from Rockaway Valley. He then came to Royal Ascot and met
his only defeat at the hooves of the smart Buratino, beaten 2l in the 6f group
2 Coventry stakes. He resumed winning ways with victory at the Curragh in
August winning the 6f group 1 Phoenix stakes by 2l from stable mate Washington
DC, then in September, stepped up to 7f, won the group 1 National stakes by 3l
from Herald The Dawn. He finished the season with an impressive victory over 7f
in the Group 1 Dewhurst stakes, beating Masaat 3 ½ l and should prove top class
in the mile events this season.
