He made his debut at Newcastle in March this year, finishing 3rd a 2m 1f bumper beaten 1 1/2l by Lawrenny, then in April in a similar event over course and distance, was 2nd beaten 5 ½ l behind Gentlemen Bill (gave 3lb), and in May at Kelso was third in a 2m bumper, beaten 6 ½ l by Dedicated Hero (gave 4lb). He reappeared a Hexham in October winning a 2m novice hurdle by 1l from the highly rated Wendigo and is an interesting prospect on the northern circuit. I think he is the first representative of the Mark Walford yard in these columns.
