2023/24 - Jumps Issue 25 - Everyone's a winner

Two winners at Sandown’s finale but neither could shake up the table.

Jonbon (Martin, Steve) didn’t put in a perfect round of jumping in the Grade One Celebration Chase but had more than enough in hand to win and earn 27.88 points.

The Grade 2 Select Hurdle ended in a comfortable win for odds-on chance Impaire Et Passe (Bob, Cliff, Cod, Neil, Peej) which gave us the final winner of the season and 21.8 points.

With everyone landing a winner on the last day there was no change to the table...

So Bob takes the last trainer of the month for the Jumps season (it’s 5 out of the last 11 for him)

And my third Jumps title in a row is confirmed. Congratulations to me!  Runner-up Steve can feel a little bit hard done by after picking up most winners (27) and most single picks (10).

At the less happy end of the table it’s an eighth Spoon for The Fish.

I’ll do my usual season stats mop-up over the next few days but everything now points towards…
