Developed in to a high class novice chaser last season, and will be interesting in the top 2 mile chases this season. He made his debut at Senonnes –Pouance  in a2m 2f 3 y conditions hurdle in October 2019, finishing 2l 2^nd to Grand De Thaix, gave 3b, then in November at Compiegne, was 2^nd in a 2m 1f 3y conditions hurdle, 1 ½ l behind Magrudy gave 6lb. He then changed yards and reappeared for Willie Mullins at Naas in February 2021, winning a 2m maiden hurdle by 4 ½ l from Don Diablo, then  in March at Cheltenham was  10^th in the 2m 4f conditional handicap hurdle, beaten 21 ¾ l behind Galopin Des Champs (gave 3lb).  He was then 7^th at Punchestown in April, beaten 6 ¼ l behind Jazzaway  (received 12 lb),  then  reappeared at Punchestown in December last year, finishing 19 ½ l 5^th behind Ferney Hollow in a 2m 1f Beginners Chase. He then was 2^nd at Leopardstown in a similar event, beaten 8 ½ l by Haut En Couleurs (received 6lb), then in February won a 2m Beginners chase at Thurles by by 34 l from Embrun Mitja. At Navan in March he won a grade 3 2m novice chase by 16 l from Grange Walk, and finished the season with victory at Aintree, winning the 2m grade 1 Maghull novice chase by 4 ½ l from Edwardstone.
