We start at Epsom on Friday where in the 1m 4f grade 1 Oaks, Tuesday (Bob, Steve), Emily Upjohn (Peej), took their chances.
Tuesday, Held up in rear on inner, shaken up and switched to centre over 3f out, pushed along and rapid headway to lead under 2f out, soon drifted right, ridden and hard pressed inside final furlong, briefly disputed lead towards finish, all out, just held on, winning by a short head. She gets 58 45 points.
Emily Upjohn, Stumbled start and lost many lengths start, took keen hold, in rear, going easily when switched to centre over 3f out, smooth headway towards near side over 2f out, ridden and pressed leader inside final furlong, disputed lead towards finish, just denied, 2nd short head. She gets 26.5 points.
On Saturday in the 1m 4f Group 1 Derby, Desert Crown (Steve), Hoo Ya Mal (Steve), went to post.
Desert Crown Sweating, midfield, shaken up and smooth headway on outer 3f out, pushed along to lead over 2f out, drifted left but ridden clear over 1f out, kept on well against far rail inside final furlong, eased towards finish, winning comfortably by 2 ½ l. He gets 82 points.
Hoo Ya Mal Dwelt start, in rear, headway on inner from 4f out, prominent when ridden and hung left 2f out, soon went second, hung left but kept on well inside final furlong, just held second, no match for winner, 2nd 2 ½ l. He gets 58.9points.
Today at Yarmouth Paradias ( Peej), went to post in the Made all at good pace, went clear after 2f, going easily but reduced lead over 3f out, pushed along over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on strongly inside final furlong, pushed out, winning by 1l. He gets 28 points.
