Top class 2 year old, who like so many of the O’brien 2 year olds, had a busy season running 7 times. She made her debut at Leopardstown in June in a 7f fillies maiden , finishing 4th, beaten 5 ½ l behind Cayenne Pepper, then at the end of the month was 2nd at the Curragh in a similar event, beaten a neck by Windracer. She got off the mark in July at Leopardstown taking another 7f fillies maiden by a neck from Soul Search, then stepped up to group 3 level at Leopardstown, winning the 7f Silver Flash fillies stakes by 3 ¼ l from Unforgetable. At the end of August she was 5th in group 2 company at Leopardstown, in the 7f Debutante Stakes, beaten 1 ¾ l behind Alpine Star, then won her first group 1 in September at the Curragh, taking the 7f Moyglare stud stakes by ¾ l from Daayeh, and then finished 3rd at Newmarket in the 1m Group 1 fillies mile beaten 1 ¾ l behind Quadrilateral.
The 2 year old fillies seemed very messy with out any real stand out performer, as many beat each other at various times, but she should certainly win top class races this season.
Trainer A O’brien
