We start at Cheltenham on Tuesday where in the Supreme novice hurdle Shishkin ( Cliff), went to post, Held up mid-division, mistake 3rd, headway when badly hampered 2 out, driven to chase leaders on outside turning in, switched inside to challenge before last, soon ridden, stayed on to lead narrowly towards finish, just held on, winning by a head. He gets 65.6 points.

In the 2m grad1 Arkle novice chase Fakir D’oudairies (Peej), took his chance, Prominent, led 2nd, soon headed, stayed handy, went 2nd after 3 out, shaken up and every chance when hit 2 out, 2 1/2 lengths down last, closed and threatened briefly flat, held towards finish, 2nd beaten 1 ½ l. He gets 24 points.

In the 2m 4f Grade 1 Mares Hurdle, Honeysuckle ( Cliff, Tony), went to post, Always prominent, shaken up to lead on inside turning in, soon ridden, big jump last, stayed under pressure flat, held on gamely, winning by ½ l. She gets 27.9 points.

Yesterday in the 2m 5f grade 1 Ballynore hurdle Envoi Allen ( Bob, Cliff, Cod, Martin, Peej, Tony), went to post, Tracked leaders, shaken up to chase front pair on outside after 2 out, stayed on to lead last, edged left and asserted clear flat, ridden out, winning by 4 ½ l. He gets 26.4 points

In the 3m grade 1 RSA Novice Chase Champ ( Martin, Steve), Minella Indo Cod, Peej, Tony), went to post.
Champ, Not always fluent, held up towards rear, closed 12th, slow next (water), effort before 3 out, 3rd and outpaced home turn, pecked 2 out, 10 lengths off front pair last, stayed on well final 150 yards, led towards finish, winning by 1l. He gets 54.5 points.
Minella Indo , Raced keenly, led until after 1st, led next, headed 5th, stayed pressing leader, led after 2 out, mistake last, hung right and pressed flat, headed towards finish, 2nd beaten 1l. He gets 12 points.

In the 2m grad1 Queen Mother Champion Chase Politolouge (Neil, Steve), took his chance, Made virtually all, clear before 2 out, ridden approaching last, driven flat, winning  unchallenged by 9 ½ l. He gets 57 points.

In the 2m Champion Bumper Ferney Hollow (Martin), went to post, Held up in last pair, steady headway over 4f out, chased leaders turning in, stayed on to lead inside final furlong, ridden clear, winning by 2 ½ l. He gets 76.8 points.
Today in the 2m 4f Grade 1 novice chase Samcro ( Bob, Steve, Tony), took his chance, Tracked leaders, joined leader going well 3 out, mistake and shaken up after next, ridden to lead narrowly after last, stayed on well under pressure flat, joined near finish, just prevailed on nod, winning by a nose. He gets 29.6 points.

In the 2m 5f Grade 1 Ryan Air Chase, Min ( Cod, Peej, Tony), went to post, Tracked leader, led narrowly 5th, made most after, joined turning in, shaken up before last, ridden 11/2 lengths clear flat, hard pressed towards finish, edged right, all out, winning by a neck. He gets 52.7 points.

Tomorrow in the opener, Solo and Aspire Tower head the ratings, I am going to side with Solo.
In the handicap hurdle Saint Roi, lightly raced off 10- 13 catches the eye
In the Albert Bartlett I am going to stick with Ramses De Teillee, although the drying ground is a bit of a worry. In the Gold Cup, again I am going to stick with my pre season hope Lostintranslation, in the Fox Hunters, Shantou Flyer, in the Grand Annual Greaneteen is on a roll for Paul Nicholls, and finally for another year Pileon .
