High class novice hurdler, hopes are high for him taking top rank this season. He made his debut at Warwick in April last year, winning a 2m bumper by 1 ¾ l from Moor Freedom. He reappeared at Ascot in November and won another 2 m bumper by 1 ½ l from Ben Buie (received 3 lb), then followed up at Ffos Las 3 weeks later, winning a 2m 4f maiden hurdle by 5l from Lisnagar Oscar, and then won a 2m novice hurdle by 6l from Megalodon (received 6lb), at Lingfield. He then won a 2m 4f novice hurdle at Newbury in February this year, beating Interconnected (received 10lb), by ¾ l, and then had his only defeat at Aintree in April, beaten 3l in the 3m grade 1 Sefton novice hurdle by the classy Champ. His long term target is the stayers hurdle in March.
