One of the darker picks, he has some smart form and is held
in high regard by owner Rich Ricci. He made his debut at Dieppe in August 2015,
winning a 2m 1f 3y hurdle by 13l from Chao Chao, then in October at Auteuil,
was second in a 2m 1f 3y conditions hurdle, beaten 2l by Balk Man, and then in
November was 5th in a 2m 2f 3y listed handicap hurdle, beaten 7l by
Paulougas, and finished his French career in March 2016 at Enghien, finishing 3rd
in a 2m 1f conditions chase, beaten 2l by Kings Socks ( gave 4lb). He moved to Willie Mullins in December 2016,
and was not seen for 1089 days, why is not revealed , but made up for lost time
by winning a 2m beginners chase in March this year at Naas by 31 l from
Portmore Lough, then followed up in May at the Punchestown festival, winning
the 2m grade 1 Ryan Air novice chase by
4 ½ l from Defi De Seuil. Yet to be
deceided what trip he will go over this season, if he stays fit he looks sure
to be a major player.
