We start at Newbury on Saturday where in the 1m 6f group 3 Technician ( Neil) wen to post, Held up off the pace in 3rd and 4th, pushed along 5f out, headway near side of group over 3f out, went 2nd entering final 2f, stayed on strongly inside final furlong, led towards finish, winning by ¾ l. He gets 54.6 points.

At Newmarket, in the 6f handicap Dazzling Dan ( Cod ) went to post, With leader, ridden to lead entering final furlong, ran on well and holding challenger towards finish, winning by ½ l. He gets 28.4 points.

On Sunday at Deauville in the 1m 2f Group 1 Prix Jean Romanet, Coronet ( Neil), took her chance, Always close up on inner, quickened to lead 1 1/2f out, edged left from 1f out, stayed on final furlong, always holding runner-up, winning by ¾ l. She gets 55.4 points.

Yesterday at York in the 1m 4f group 2 Logician ( Cliff), took his chance, Tracked leading pair, headway 3f out, led 2f out, soon ridden, pushed out and clear inside final furlong, kept on strongly, winning by 1 ¾ l. He gets 43.2 points.

In the 1m 2f Group 1 International stakes Japan, (Tony), Crystal Ocean ( Cliff, Neil, Steve), took their chances, . Japan, Tracked leaders, headway over 2f out, ridden to challenge just over 1f out, driven to take slight lead inside final furlong, headed last 50yds, hard driven and led again near line, winning by a head. He gets 85.8 points.

Crystal Ocean, Tracked leader, headway 3f out, challenged over 2f out, soon led, joined and ridden over 1f out, driven and headed narrowly inside final furlong, rallied gamely to take slight lead last 50yds, headed and no extra near line, 2nd beaten a head. He gets 12 points.

Enable and Magical will renew rivalry at York on Thursday after featuring among just four horses declared for the Darley Yorkshire Oaks. Lah Ti Dar also runs.

Star sprinters Ten Sovereigns and Battaash top a field of 12 for the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York. Charlie Hills' speedster has, though, failed to sparkle in two previous attempts at this race, finishing fourth in the last two renewals.. Mabs Cross bids to go one better in the Nunthorpe after an agonising defeat to Alpha Delphini 12 months ago.
The Michael Dods-trained five-year-old has twice finished behind Battaash this season.  Fairyland also represents O’Brien.
