One of the un exposed Mullins battalion of novice hurdlers, and a rarity as he did not run in a point to point or in France, he made his debut at Fairyhouse in January this year, winning a 2m bumper by a head from Getaway John, then in March was third in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham , beaten 3 ½ l by stablemate Relegate, and finished the season with victory at Punchestown in the Grade 1 Conyngham Cup bumper beating Blackbow 1 ¼ l. Those last 2 performances from such an inexperienced horse suggest he will be amongst the better novice hurdlers this season
