We start at Ascot on Friday where in the 2m 5f novice chase Benatar ( Neil, Peej) went to post Took keen hold, tracked leading pair, went 2nd 4th until 6th, 2nd again before 2 out, ridden to lead last, just held on, all out, winning by a short head, . He gets 17.3 points


On Boxing Day at Kempton in the 2m Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle Buveur D’Air ( Cliff, Cod, Martin, Neil, Peej, Steve), took his chance, Tracked leader, shaken up briefly between last 2, led last, winning  comfortably by 2 32/4 l. He gets 51.1 points.

In the 3m Grade 1 King George V1 Chase, Mite Bite ( Bob, Martin, Peej, Steve) went to post, With leader, led 10th to 11th, led again 4 out, pushed along next, ridden approaching last, stayed on well, winning by 1l. He gets 52.1 points.

At Wincanton in the 2m mares novice hurdle If You Say Run ( Cliff), took her chance, Chased leaders, hit 3rd, progress into 2nd after next, driven to challenge 2 out, led before last, edged left, ran on well winning by 11l . She gets 32 6 points.

At Leopardstown in the 2m 1f Grade 1 Novice Chase, Footpad ( Tony), went to post, Soon raced in 3rd, jumped well, left 2nd from 5th, soon on terms, led before 3 out, went on approaching straight, stayed on well from before last, winning impressively by 13l. He gets 78 points.
