Top class performer who should take
top rank among this seasons staying chasers, he made his debut at Gowran Park
in March 2015, winning a 2m 2f bumper by 2 ¾ l from Pause and Ponder, then won
the Punchestown bumper at the end of April, beating OK Corral 2 ¼ l . He
reappeared in December 2015, winning a 2m 4f maiden hurdle by 8 1/ 2l from Road
to Respect at Punchestown, then came over to Sandown in January 2016, taking
the grade 1 2m Tolworth hurdle by 1l from O O Seven, then won the grade 1 2m 5f
Neptune hurdle at the Cheltenham festival, beating Yanworth 1 ¾ l. He then took
the 2m 4f grade 1 Mersey novice hurdle at Aintree beating Le Prezien 2 ¼ l ,
and finished the season with a 4th at Punchestown, 12 ¼ l in the 2m
champion novice hurdle behind Don’t Touch It. He went novice chasing last
season, starting with victory at Fairyhouse in December last year, beating
Burgas 14l in a 2m Beginners chase, then followed up at Leopardstown in
January, taking a 2m 3f novice chase from Jett by 1 1/4l , then won the JLT
novice chase at Cheltenham by 1l from Top Notch, and finished with a 2nd
at Punchestown in the 2m 4f Gold Cup novice chase, beaten a neck by Road too
Respect.
