We start at Sandown last Thursday evening where in the 1m 2f novice stakes Francesco Clemente (Peej) took his chance, Soon led, headed and prominent after 1f, pushed along to lead over 2f out, soon hung right, ridden and hung right against far rail 1f out, kept on well, winning comfortably by 1 ½ l. He gets 22.46 points.
On Saturday at the Curragh in the 1m group 2000 Guineas Native Trail ( Cliff, Martin, Neil, Steve), took his chance, Held up in behind leaders, pushed along when bit short of room and switched left under 3f out, soon headway, ridden to lead over 1f out, ran on inside final 110yds, winning by 1 ¾ l. He gets 26 .2 points.
On Sunday at the Curragh in the 1m 2f group 1 Gold Cup Alenquer ( Martin), went to post, Prominent, pushed along 3f out, ridden 2f out, pressed leader inside final furlong, led final strides, winning gamely by a neck. He gets 58.8 points.
At Newcastle on Tuesday Eldar Eldarov (Cliff, Peej), took his chance in the 1m 2f novice stakes, Prominent, led against near rail over 2f out, ridden over 1f out, kept on strongly final 110yds, winning by 2 ¼ l. He gets 12.5 points.
Tonight at Sandown in the 1m 2f group 3, Bay Bridge (Bob, Cliff), went to post, Towards rear, shaken up and headway from over 2f out, ridden to lead over 1f out, kept on strongly and went clear inside final furlong, winning impressively by 5l. He gets 17.75 points.
