Reflections On The Week
Did we miss it that much, general concensus is not as much as we thought before hand, yes we missed the camaradie and face to face banter, but not the cost and hassle factor of very big crowds. Age is catching up.

I will go again next year, just because I don’t want covid to be the reason for having to be  my last, but the spell has been broken, Friday at the November meeting and Wednesdays at Bath or Newbury are now more enjoyable overall.

The Irish domination is ridiculous and English trainers need to take a long hard look at the way they do things. Also better prize money to attract better horses to race here.

FLAT COMPETITION STARTS SATURDAY 1 MAY

First winner bonus available, In the UK - Brighton, Cartmel, Newton Abbot, Perth, Southwell, Stratford, Thirsk, Worcester

In Ireland - Ballinrobe, Galway, Roscommon, Sligo, Bellewstown, Laytown, Downpatrick,  Listowel, Kilbeggan
